HHA UPDATES

Before you know it, all this talk of summer and suntans will turn into whispers of shrieks and screaming ... and The Haunted House Association is leading our industry into a new era of communication, safety, and profit!

A veteran team of award-winning experts in public relations have risen to meet our challenge, and have developed an exciting plan to raise national awareness of our attractions and events. The message is clear, the results will be staggering. Soon, media outlets and potential customers from across the country will know of the creativity and impact offered by some of the most dedicated and talented individuals in the entertainment industry: haunted attraction owners!

The HHA presents an exclusive benefit to all members: The Help Desk. From crisis plans to in-depth tutorials on prop-making, this online feature presents invaluable information that can make your attraction more effective, profitable, and safe than ever before. Plus, some of the industry’s most influential and successful attraction owners are now available to answer members’ questions!

With insurance prices skyrocketing and law suits looming, safety is an increasingly important issue for all of us. Most of the accidents that plague this industry could be avoided or eliminated completely by following simple safety guidelines. We have committed to a proactive pursuit of safety awareness with our Safety Outreach program. Our plans to educate and inform horror enthusiasts and amateur haunters is intended to lower both accidents and insurance premiums, while also preparing the next generation of professional haunters for a safe future.
